Rakul Preet Singh’s Hard Work For Kondapolam

Rakul Preet Singh is gearing up for Kondapolam slated for release on October 8. While the actress has played as a village belle in the past, getting into the shoes of Obulamma was challenging.

Rakul not only learnt the body language and mannerisms carried by women shepherds but to get the look right, she had to don the greasepaint in tan color to make it authentic. The challenging part was managing sheep.

Rakul shot with over 100 sheeps and found it difficult to manage the flock. Rakul got into the skin as she also learnt the sound used by shepherds to control animals. Her role as Obulamma is close to her heart who finds the character endearing.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the first lyrical Obulamma was out which was an instant hit. Paired next to Vaishnav Tej, the film talks about the shepherd community. Apart from this, Rakul has a string of films in Bollywood too where she will be teaming up with noted personalities.
