Ram Charan’s Big Investment Failed

Remember Ram Charan endorsing TruJet, a Hyderabad-based airline company. All the aircrafts belonging to the company are grounded. At least five out of seven aircraft have been taken back by the lessors while two others are in the process of being deregistered.

The Top management of the company has quit in recent times and employees were not paid for at least three months. The company continued to pay half salaries till October. Since November, the employees have not seen a penny. COVID made things worse for the company which is already suffering due to a cash crunch.

The airline started in 2015 with Megha Engineering Infrastructure Limited holding 90% shares and Ram Charan being one of the other investors. The actor was the face of the airline for a long time. MEIL offloaded its shares to an NRI Businessman in October and exited the business.

We do not know if Ram Charan is already a part of the company or he exited as well. Either way, this will be a loss-making investment for the star.
