Ram Charan is one of the big names in South Indian cinema, and he is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Peddi. Meanwhile the stage is being prepared for his upcoming collaboration with Sukumar in the near future.
The problem for Charan has been with the fact that most of his projects in the recent times have taken far too long to be executed.
RRR was anyway an elongated journey, but that is understandable, considering the Rajamouli phenomena. This was followed by Game Changer, which was a painfully long journey that ended up as a disaster.
And now, Charan had to coincidentally be occupied with Peddi also for a lot longer than expected. It is strange to see Charan face so many delays back to back. And the next project with Sukumar will take a lot longer than expected, considering the desire for perfection of the director.
Under any circumstance, Charan is having to spend a lot of time on each of his films which is never a pleasing sight. This has led to a comment that it is better if Charan can set up a project with Director Lokesh Kanagaraj soon.
Lokesh has the reputation of executing big projects in a quick timeline as he takes under a year generally for most of his projects. The likes of Leo and Coolie both fall under same category. Even Vikram is in similar bracket.
After having spent nearly 7 years on a mere 3 films, Charan can certainly make with a project with Lokesh Kanagaraj if he can wrap up in one year. This is also perhaps the reason why Allu Arjun also preferred to have Lokesh as the director for his upcoming project.
