#RC15 Runs Into Expected Trouble

Universal Hero Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Indian 2 got stalled after a freak accident on the film set last year. The movie shooting never resumed and Shankar already announced moving on to his other project, #RC15 with Ram Charan and Dil Raju. Now, there are problems for that project.

Lyca Productions, the production house of Indian 2 approached Madras HC against Shankar for not completing their film. They asked the court to prevent Shankar from doing other films. They claim to spent ₹180 Cr out of 230 Crore Budget already. Lyca also informed the Court that it is ready to deposit remaining remunerations with the Court.

The Court has asked Director to furnish his Reply in an affidavit and will begin the hearings after that. This is likely to pose problems for #RC15. Shankar has time till June may be to resolve this issue as Ram Charan is expected to be busy with RRR shooting until then.

Dil Raju was supposed to bankroll Indian 2 but it did not happen in the last minute due to some reason. His second project planned with Shankar is also in the doldrums now. This controversy is very much expected given the fact Lyca has huge money at stake on Indian 2.
