Ram Charan is going through a rare slow phase in his busy life. He is not rushing to a film set or travelling for another shooting schedule. After his surgery, the actor has been forced to stay at home for a few weeks.

But this unexpected break may have given him something more valuable than another film schedule.

For a star like Ram Charan, having no professional commitments is rare. His career has moved from one big project to another, with long shoots, travel and packed schedules becoming part of his life. Even when he is at home, the next schedule is usually waiting.

That can make normal family time difficult.

His injury has temporarily changed that. Unlike other top stars like Prabhas, Mahesh, and Allu Arjun, Ram Charan now has time to stay at home, spend time with his children and enjoy simple moments without worrying about the next call sheet. These may look like ordinary things, but they can be very special for a star whose work often keeps him away from home.

Speaking about his next film, RC17, the final version of the script has been locked and Sukumar is expected to give Ram Charan a final narration soon. The team is planning to begin shooting in December.

However, given its scale and the expected shooting and post-production requirements, a 2027 release appears difficult, with 2028 now looking more realistic. The female lead is also yet to be finalized.
