Tollywood Must Stop “Leakage” First?

The Telugu film industry is one of the best performing film industries in the country and the kind of revenue that is generated here is a clear testament of the same.

However, there is one particular detrimental factor that is associated with the Telugu film industry, which is causing a lot of problems now.

This is primarily regarding the leakage aspect where several big films are at the risk of having crucial information getting leaked on social media. The latest film to fall prey to this is Peddi which released today.

Nearly a year before the release of this film, it was speculated that there would be one shocking twist in the climax portion regarding the main lead, Ram Charan. At first, many people thought this shocking ending would not be the case exactly. But in the end, it turned out to be the exact ending.

The fact that this ending got leaked much in advance of the film release has taken away the shock factor for the majority of the audience.

This is extremely detrimental stuff for big Hero films as such leakages will always kill the interest and anticipation for the common audience. For sure, people outside the social media zone might not be aware of this but for those who’re active, this is a disgusting outcome.

The collective responsibility is on the film industry as a whole to make sure that sensitive and crucial information regarding films mustn’t be put out at any cost.
