Ram Charan has been facing consecutive peculiar situations with regard to his films. First, it was with Game Changer, which isn’t just a bad film, but also faced extreme delay as it stayed in the production stage for nearly 3 years.
Charan was absolutely tormented through the course of the production of this film and it reflected in the end result.
And just when people thought things would get better for Charan, it isn’t going exactly as planned. The discussion now is regarding Peddi happens to be one of the promising films from Charan in recent times.
Charan took a big gamble by deciding to work with Buchi Babu, who is just a one film old director, who had earlier made Uppena. A lot of emphasis was placed on the script and the vision of Buchi.
Considering the close proximity of Charan and Buchi Babu, it appears that the two of them have developed camaraderie through the course of production. But when it comes to the actual delivery of the product, this is where the director has been lacking. Charan liking him is one thing, but the most important task for Buchi is execute and market the film rightly.
The film is nearly done with the production, but there is still no update on the release date, even after a couple of postponements. There are vague reports about a release in June, but there is nothing affirmative and official till now.
For a film of this scale, featuring a big star like Charan, this kind of confusion regarding the very basic aspect of release date is not expected. Better and fixation is expected from producers and also the director.
