Today, the Peddi team held a thank-you meet after release. One moment that caught attention was Ram Charan not mentioning Janhvi Kapoor during his speech.
He thanked Jagapathi Babu, AR Rahman and others involved in the film, but did not specifically mention Janhvi Kapoor or her character Achiyamma, which had earlier been promoted as one of the film’s memorable roles.
Naturally, this triggered fresh debates online. Some viewers saw nothing unusual in it, while others felt the omission stood out considering how much negativity the Janhvi’s character generated after release.
