Even before the film has gone on floors, the film has landed in legal soup. Popular Tamil producer Gnanavel Raja who owns Studio Green has raised a complaint against Linguswamy for taking a huge paycheck and not completing the prior commitments with his company.
The producer raised a complaint with the Telugu Producers Council and the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, wherein he has told to begin RAPO19 once he completes prior projects. Meanwhile, how Telugu producers are going to react is to be seen as Raja is not a member of the Telugu Council.
RAPO19 was to go on floors in the second week of July. With the legal wrangle, if the film gets delayed is to be seen. The incident is similar to Lyca Productions and Shakar who are in a tussle over Indian 2, where the production house moved to Madras Court asking Shankar to complete Indian 2 and then go ahead with RC15.
