Strong Mass Appeal: Rana’s Big Hope for Tamil Market

Rana Daggubati’s upcoming movie ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ is going to Kollywood with the Tamil version titled ‘Naan Aanaiyitta’. The trailer of the Tamil version was released and Rana is hoping big because of the movie’s big mass appeal.

The Tamil title of the film is very special as it was picked up from the lyrics of a super hit song of legendary Tamil actor cum former Chief Minister MGR from his movie ‘Enga Veettu Pilla’ which was the Tamil remake of Ramanaidu’s first successful production venture ‘Ramudu Bheemudu’ starring legendary NTR.

The title and the trailer raised huge curiosity among the Tamil audiences. Rana is a popular name in Tamil as he has done several Tamil movies and the biggest of them all is of course, ‘Baahubali’.

With the kind of powerful screen image, he earned by the virtue of his performance as Bhallaladeva, any strong content would cater to the tastes of Tamil audiences. Being directed by Teja, this political thriller will be released in three languages including Hindi.
