Rana follows suit Sri Divya

Since long Sidharth and Samantha’s names had made rounds for the lead roles for the remake of superhit Malayalam film ‘Bangalore Days’. After the duo chose to walk out of the project, obviously the makers had no choice but to find replacements. Only a day ago, Sri Divya’s name came out to replace Samantha for the remake.

Now Rana Daggubati came into the scene and according to the latest reports he would be playing the main lead which Fahadh Fazil played in the original and he has two other heroes alongside him. Arya and Simha are going to play his friends and the story revolves around the struggles and accomplishments of these friends.

As Rana has completed shooting for his roles in magnum opuses ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Rudramadevi’, it is likely that he has full dates available for the remake which would probably go on floors since coming March. The remake going to be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar is learnt to have set up in the backdrop of Singapore instead of Bangalore as in original.
