Rana in back to back cameos – Good or Bad?

After being a part of big period dramas ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Rudramadevi’, Rana is back to social theme movies and his first stinct in a cameo appearance in Hindi movie ‘Baby’ earned him lot of appreciation for his work. The latest, it is heard that Rana agreed to do yet another cameo appearance in a Goutham Menon’s upcoming Tamil Movie.

To be frank, till now Rana doesn’t have the kind of market to play lead roles in big films like ‘Baby’ which has a big star Akshay Kumar playing he lead. It’s not only ‘Baby’, Rana earned huge appreciation for the cameo role in Ajith’s Tamil movie ‘Aaarambam’. By coincidence, both the roles in ‘Baby’ and ‘Aarambam’ are action roles which gel well with Rana’s macho appearance.

Rana may seem to be very choosy and seems to be doing films below his calibre, but taking his market value into consideration, this looks likea good idea as he is slowly making his mark by being part of big films and especially very sensible directors and getting well-etched characters though cameos. Of course, there is every possibility that after ‘Baahubali’s release, the cards might turn in favour of Rana.
