Coming to the topic, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga’s post-theatrical digital streaming rights are with Netflix. The same is confirmed in the opening credits of the film today.
Netflix is on cloud nine with the blockbuster success of their recent Telugu outing, RRR. The film was a global blockbuster and it greatly boosted the OTT giant’s branding. Now, the Vaishnav Tej starrer is one of Netflix’s first acquisitions after RRR.
Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga released in theaters today, 2nd September. And usually, Netflix is not too aggressive when it comes to orchestrating early OTT releases for their films.
Also, Tollywood producer’s guild had recently passed a guideline, mandating a 50-day no OTT release for all theatrical releases. We should wait and see if the same will be enforced for Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga now.
The film is directed by Gireeshaaya and produced by SVCC Creations. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the film.
