Kantara Controversy Relief: Ranveer’s Damage Control Mode

Ranveer Singh is finally getting some relief from his legal troubles. The complaints against him for mimicking a character from the movie Kantara are now being closed by the Karnataka High Court. The court took this decision after the actor offered an unconditional apology and showed that he truly regretted his actions.

To settle the whole matter, Ranveer has also agreed to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru and he will go there to ask for forgiveness in person. The higher authorities and the court liked this step, so they decided to drop the case against him once the visit is completed.

Apart from this court case, Ranveer has also resolved his issues with the makers of Don 3. He has decided to return the 10 crore signing amount to the production house and also offered them a stake in his next project Pralay.

Earlier, Ranveer sued the makers of Don 3 for their unprofessional behaviour while the makers filed a case against him to return the signing amount because the actor left the film at the last moment. Ranveer’s team clarified that Ranveer has decided to return the amount as he wants to end the agreement in a professional way.

Ranveer took these big steps because he wants to focus on his future movies. He didn’t want any legal or financial problems holding him back anymore. Now that these issues are getting resolved, he can focus on his zombie action thriller Pralay which is expected to go on floors soon.
