Ravi Teja’s Thulabharam
Ravi Teja joins filmmaker Vivek Athreya, who is known for his distinct storytelling style, for a new project. Their upcoming film, #RT78, has officially been titled Thulabharam, with the makers announcing the title through a documentary-style video.
The Title Documentary video, unveiled by My Home Ram, takes viewers through the process of arriving at the title Thulabharam, capturing the confusion, humour and creative discussions involved in selecting the name.
The launch ceremony took place today, with Chandu switching on the camera and Sree Vishnu sounding the clapboard. Shiva Nirvana and Bobby came together to direct the first shot. VV Vinayak handed over the script to the makers.
Ravi Teja, whose name has long been associated with the energetic persona of Mass Maharaja, is now introduced as The Crime Maharaja. The announcement, accompanied by the phrase Nava Ravitejamu, suggests a different side of the actor and offers a glimpse into the film’s characterisation.
Produced by Laxman and Srini Rao under Bridge Productions, the project also held its formal pooja ceremony today. Thulabharam features Priyanka Mohan and Anaswara Ranjan as the female leads. Tharun Bhascker and JD Chakravarthy will play significant roles.
On the technical front, Vivek Sagar is composing the music, continuing his association with Vivek Athreya. Theni Eswar ISC will handle the cinematography, with Raviteja Girijala responsible for editing and GM Sekhar handling production design.
Following the success of Irumudi, Ravi Teja is now collaborating with Vivek Athreya for Thulabharam. The film is expected to combine elements of crime, drama and entertainment, bringing together the cast and technical team for the project.
