Zanjeer is the first block buster film for Megastar Amitabh Bachan in Bollywood. The new Zanjeer directed by Apoorva Lakhia features Priyanka Chopra, Ram Charan and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Amitabh finds the trailer smashing and wished the team. There were rumors that Big B would play a cameo in remake however it was officially clarified that Bachan denied the idea. Explaining the reason for Big B’s rejection director Apoorva says this would put lot of pressure on Ram Charan who plays the cop role that Amitji played in orignal Zanjeer.
Apoorva had already worked with Amitabh earlier for an other Hindi film called ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’ thinks it would be unfair to force him to be a part of Zanjeer remake although he would love to have him in his film again.
