Regina Cassandra may have been away from films for a little while though, but the actress has been filling her time with other interesting things, and also has several interesting projects coming up.

Interestingly though, Regina is more than what meets the eye. The actress has won several awards for her daring feats recently. Regina won the Wild Warrior Himalayan Adventure Race ’30 For 30 Challenge’ in December 2020, cycled 100 KM from Hyderabad to Mehboobnagar, and won the first prize in women’s technical category in her first-ever stand-up paddling competition organized by Surf Turf in Kovalam, Chennai.

On the other hand, Regina is taking to her daredevil feats on the screen too, in her upcoming film, Shakini Dakini, where she will be seen playing the role of a cop in training. She said that he had to train for the several action sequences in the movie and that she’s very much looking forward to shooting for these sequences, as they would then push her as an actor.

Shakini Dakini is the remake of a Korean film, Midnight Runners. This action-comedy is being directed by Sudheer Varma of Swamy Ra Ra fame. The first schedule of the film is completed, and further details of the film are awaited.
