Relief for Suriya in High Court

Suriya’s upcoming movie ‘Kaappaan’ has been mired in controversy as a film writer has accused that the director of ‘Kaappaan’ KV Anand with plagiarism. However, it is a big relief for Suriya that the Madras High Court dismissed the case against the director.

The similarities between his script and based upon the teaser content, the above-mentioned scriptwriter made allegations. Now, with the dismissal of the case, Suriya and Lyca Productions will have a big relief along with director KV Anand.

These days plagiarism charges can become a big headache if something escalated beyond redemption. Unnecessary controversies can’t help a movie if there is no real content.

So, we must say, the dismissal of the case is a good thing for the movie as the makers will have time to redeem and concentrate on the trailer that would be more crucial than anything else.
