Republic Poses A New Challenge For Sai Dharam Tej

The title of Sai Dharam Tej’s new flick is out. It is named Republic. Deva Katta known for his hard-hitting political drama Pasthanam helms the project.

The motion poster that is out revealing the title also gives a glimpse of the Republic’s theme. Suffice to say; it will be a new challenge for Sai Dharam Tej. It is a fresh space for him, but more importantly, it looks very serious terrain for him.

While we know nothing about the actual content yet, Republic’s motion poster suggests a serious drama. Certainly, the dialogue delivery (towards the end) could have been better, especially if one remembers the impactful voice over the director’s past effort with a similar announcement for Autonagar Surya.

It is the reason why a serious drama will pose a new challenge to Sai Dharam Tej. The director, Deva Katta, too being out of form adds to the pressure. A success here would be a terrific achievement for everyone involved in the project.

Check out the motion poster below. Sai Dharam Tej reportedly plays an IAS officer in the movie. Aishwarya Rajesh is the heroine opposite SDT in the film. Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna play other vital roles. Mani Sharma provides the music. Republic will hit cinemas in summer 2021.
