Return Of VD’s Missing Fire & Passion?

Vijay Deverakonda has been chasing a blockbuster for some time now.

After the success of Taxiwala in 2018, Vijay Deverakonda has faced a string of disasters like Dear Comrade, World Famous Lover, Liger, and Family Star, which failed to make an impact at the box office, with only Kushi achieving average success.

Despite these flops, his stardom remains intact, and he still has tremendous craze among the youth. However, it is now time for him to deliver success and increase his range as both an actor and a star.

His upcoming film, tentatively titled VD12 and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for Jersey, is being seen as a potential game-changer. This project holds the promise of revitalizing his career and could be the blockbuster Deverakonda needs.

The first-look poster reveals a striking and intense new image of the actor, fueling high expectations for his comeback.

In the poster, Deverakonda sports a buzz cut and appears drenched in blood, exuding a gritty and powerful presence. The cryptic caption reads: “His Destiny awaits him. Mistakes. Bloodshed. Questions. Rebirth. 28 March, 2025.”

For the first time in a long while, we see that fire in Vijay in the poster and the hunger in him to deliver a kickass film with a mind-blowing performance. As an actor, this would truly mean a rebirth for him after the lows of his last film.

The actor’s dramatic physical transformation, coupled with the intense imagery, suggests a departure from his previous roles. If reports are to be believed, he plays dual shades of a police officer and a prisoner in the film.

The poster gives off great positive vibes and suggests he has delivered a memorable performance. Gowtam Tinnanuri is a sensible filmmaker with goodwill among today’s audience.

The poster is impressive and let’s hope the film turns out even better for the sake of Vijay.

Vijay’s honest efforts combined with Gowtam Tinnanuri’s powerful storytelling make VD12 potentially VD’s strongest comeback.
