Two notable films have hit the Tollywood box office today and they are Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Naveen Polishetty’s Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty.

Here is a brief report on the OTT partners of these two films.

The post theatrical rights of both Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty and Jawan are acquired by the same platform – Netflix.

Netflix should’ve spent a fancy amount on the post theatrical rights of Jawan, given the presence of SRK who is fresh off the success of Pathan.

With this being a pan Indian film, Netflix has the prospect of the film working on digital medium in multiple languages, given that it gets a good word of mouth.

As for Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, this comedy caper is directed by Mahesh Babu P and it has Naveen and Anushka in the lead roles.

These breezy entertainers are often lapped up by the OTT folk for casual viewing. So, things look bright on this front as well for Netflix.
