RGV begins new Sarkar with Mohan Babu

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has begun shooting for his film which involves the Manchu families Mohan Babu and Vishnu. Shooting of the film commenced today with few scenes canned on Mohan Babu very early in the morning. There are various rumors doing the rounds on what kind of film this is going to be, here is what our sources say. This film is again going to be rework of the classic Godfather film, says sources.

Ram Gopal Varma has taken plot points from Godfather and has made few films in the past using those, the most famous one are the two Sarkar films. Well it looks like the director is going to redo the Sarkar films in Telugu now. Apparently this film involving the Manchu’s is going to be a mixture of both Sarkar and Sarkar Raj.

Those Hindi versions were in news back when they released for its controversial nature of the main protagonist, will it evoke a similar response in Telugu, only time will tell. And also looking at the history of both director Ram Gopal Varma and actor Mohan Babu with the censor board, things are going to be interesting both on and off screen in the coming days for sure.
