Directors like SS Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel are known for taking full control of their stories. They plan every detail, oversee VFX, and ensure the narrative keeps audiences hooked. Stars like Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and Yash bring these visions to life.
Rishab Shetty is rare because he shines as both actor and director. His latest film, Kantara: Chapter 1, proves his ability to manage both roles. Starting in Kannada, the film spread to Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, winning strong appreciation everywhere.
Handling writing, direction, and acting in a film of such scale is a huge responsibility. While the writing and pacing have minor flaws, Rishab delivered a gripping and technically sound film. His performance feels so immersive that you forget he is also directing.
Kantara: Chapter 1 also shows his skill with VFX. Even with a Rs 150 crore budget, he delivered stunning visuals. The tiger sequences, war scenes, and mystical moments stand out. Many bigger films fail here, but Rishab used effects with precision and vision.
With Chapter 1, Rishab proved himself again. His unique ideas and striking visuals gave audiences a memorable cinematic experience. The film confirmed his reputation as a multi-talented filmmaker who can shoulder massive responsibility and still deliver a pan-India spectacle.
If Rishab Shetty directs a film with a big pan-India star in future, it will surely be one of the most awaited releases. His craft and vision already place him alongside names like Prashanth Neel at the very top of Indian cinema.
