Rock Bottom Ratings for Controversial Series

Certain things seem to have the default settings to turn on the tab that is called ‘controversy’. Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar’s latest web series ‘Rasbhari‘ ignited the button and it has become the talk of the town.

The web series that started streaming on Amazon Prime has hit the rock bottom with the lowest ratings for a web series, so far. As if it is a bonus, the character played by Swara Bhaskar has invited the ire of the conservative people around.

She played a seductress who tries to woo men in her locality and the sexually explicit content seems to be too much for the Indian audiences. However, digital platforms thrive on sexually implicit content, mostly.

Keeping the controversy aside, ‘Rasbhari’ is said to be ‘A Disaster of Epic Proportion’ in the web series’ game.
