RRR: Fine Example of Reviews & WOM

Rajamouli is a master filmmaker and whatever he makes turns out to be a gold at the box office. The same has happened with his latest film RRR which has crossed the 1000 crores gross worldwide and is still going strong.

The success can be termed as a fine example of strong word of mouth and positive reviews. RRR made $246 K on the third Saturday and its total collection stands at $13.48 Million.

Looking at the numbers, RRR’s pull shows how terrific the word of mouth and ultra positive reviews helped the film.

The film will gross around $14 million in its life run. This is massive given the conditions the film went through like multiple postponements, Covid, and Omicron.

But on the other hand, a film like Ghani with poor reviews and dull word of mouth made only $20K on Saturday and its total $97K. The film will end as a huge flop.
