RRR Racing Against Time for Dussehra Release?

SS Rajamouli’s RRR has changed its release date thrice already and there are speculations if it can change once more. We have reliably learned that the movie has close to 50 days to shoot pending and then, there is a significant chunk of post-production work as well.

If there are any reshoots as in the case with Rajamouli as always, the schedule will go haywire totally. So, yet another postponement is always on cards, a source close to the movie unit told us. RRR is announced for October 13th release as Dusshera Special.

If a postponement is imminent, the movie may be pushed to Sankranthi 2022 this time and that means shuffle in the already announced release dates. Alia Bhatt will join the team once again this weekend for a song shoot.

If at all, RRR is out of the Dussehra race, it will be an advantage to Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan which is announced for the same date. Boney Kapoor is fuming at Rajamouli over the clash. In such a case, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa may also be pushed to Dussehra for a better release date.
