
This year, the price has been hiked, and those wanting to book tickets can get on to the PVR app and book their tickets for the day. However, it has to be remembered that there are certain rules that will apply on the day. While one can watch Virasu, Drishayam 2, Avatar 2, and other favorite movies, the pricing is not uniform in all states.
In Telangana, the tickets will cost Rs 112+GST. In Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala, the tickets will cost Rs 100+GST. As of now, in Telangana and Andhra, movies like Veerasimha Reddy, Waltair Veerayya, and Dhamaka are running in theatres. Then there are the Tamil Pongal releases, Thunivu and Varisu/Vaarasudu.
Also, note that the special pricing on the day is applicable for regular seating. The prices will remain the same for recliner seats, IMAX, and 4D formats.
