The run time of the Bollywood big film ‘Dhoni‘, the biopic on the star cricketer M.S. Dhoni releasing this week is said to be 190 minutes. That means more than three hours. Now, this lengthy run time has become a cause of worry for the makers of the movie say some reports. Reason?

Some of the Bollywood big films made in the recent times have made their run time too lengthy. Though it might look essential for the narration of the movie, it might sometimes prove to be detrimental to the collections of a movie by cutting short the number of shows that could be screened.

What is the cause of worry is ‘Dhoni’ has no strong contender and it’s going to be the solo release coming this week. Lengthy run time will decrease the number of shows and hence could have an opposite effect from the desired one. However, one should take a note that not all lengthy run time biggies proved to be detrimental to business.
