“S.V.Krishna Reddy was completely a wrong choice!”

When director Dasaradh was high with the success of Nag’s ‘Santosham’, he did ‘Sambaram’ which couldn’t reach upto the expectations. Many things went wrong with the film and one of them is casting S.V.Krishna Reddy as an eccentric genius.

Dasaradh regrets that and says it was completely a wrong choice. He had R.Narayana Murthy in mind for the character and he agreed to it. But one fine day, R.Narayana Murthy walked in, only to say that he wouldn’t be able to do the special role as audiences want to see him in lead roles.

Then came in Prakash Raj. He too walked away from the project given to the creative differences with Teja. Finally S.V.Krishna Reddy was roped in. But his soft image didn’t help the role and we know how it was received. Dasaradh looks back on his wrong choice with regret.
