Suriya’s Biggest Chance To Roar

When was the last time Suriya scored a mass blockbuster? We have to get back in time few years and return again to Singam 2. Even before that Singam was one of his biggest mass hits.

One can clearly see the problem here. In his bid to win the non Tamil audience or the urban audience, Suriya the star has totally lost grip in masses. Such is the state today that Singam has become his only connection with masses. The motion poster is good keeping the past films in mind. The bgm is loud but that is expected.

The film arrives in cinemas in December and it gives the actor a chance to roar again. He has not been able to get a movie in top five of the year for some time, forget top three. This year a new emerging star like Sivakarthikeyan has beaten him in openings and long run. Will Singam 3 enable Suriya to enter in top 3 of the year again after a long gap and regain his lost mass touch?
