Saaho Comes Down With A Thud

Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Saaho has crashed on the fifth day in Telugu states. After setting Non-Baahubali records for the first four days, on the fifth day, it has found no place in the top 5.

The fifth-day collections in Telugu states are around 3.5 Cr. Generally, it wouldn’t be seen as a huge drop, but that is in the case of Saaho. It is because of the massive numbers it had put up in the previous days.

The drop has been expected right from the first day due to the weak word of mouth. The curiosity on the project and it being the first outing of Prabhas after the two Baahubali movies helped it sustain the opening weekend.

In quite a contrast, the Hindi version of Saaho has held better with a little above 9 Cr Nett on the first Tuesday. The movie is also a success in Hindi as it is going to break even by the end of the second weekend. The same, unfortunately, can’t be said about the Telugu original which is going to see substantial losses in all areas.
