Sequel for Balayya’s Original not Dumped

Producer Shibu Thameens has been planning a sequel for the original version ‘Saamy’ of Balakrishna’s 2004 Telugu remake ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’. This news had been in circulation since long and there had been rumors that they sequel had been dumped.

Clarifying on the same, the producer said that the film is in the pre-production stage and will start shooting for it from April onwards. So, those were just baseless and Vikram is going to connect with the sequel once he completes his present projects.

Hari who bankrolled the original ‘Saamy’ is going to helm the sequel ‘Saamy 2’ as well and music director Harris Jayaraj is going to work for both songs and background music. Vikram’s fans would be the happiest ones as they have been asking for the sequel since long. Vikram played a serious cop in the movie.
