Sachin and Lara To Take Guard Once Again?

If everything goes as per the plan, we may see the Legends – Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara on a Cricket Field once again. Shane Warne and Ricky Ponting are urging their fellow cricket legends to venture Down Under and play in the bushfire relief match next month. Warne and Ponting will captain each side.

The match will be played on February 8th. Australia coach Justin Langer and fellow former national team stars Adam Gilchrist, Brett Lee, Shane Watson, Alex Blackwell, and Michael Clarke are already confirmed starters for the Bushfire Cricket Bash. Former Indian Captain MS Dhoni is also on their wishlist.

Let us see if the Legends will agree to be a part of this game. In 2005, a host of big names had played the World XI v Asia XI game at the MCG to help those affected by the tsunami. The likes of Ponting, Warne, Tendulkar, Brian Lara, and Muttiah Muralitharan were some of the big names in the game.

Fans would be very excited to see the Legends take guard once again.
