Sai Did It, Tollywood Can Happily Pick Him?

One of the main components for a generation, music composer is the ability to carry a film on his own, regardless of the quality of the content. In the previous generation, it was Rehman who was playing the job and now we have the case of Anirudh Ravichander.

And if we discuss the case of future, it can perhaps we argued that Sai Abhyankar is putting his hand up.

Earlier he saved a questionable film like Dude, entirely with background score and scintillating audio album. He was so very good with the work that they fell almost entirely depended on him to survive.

Now a similar scenario is repeating in the case of Surya’s Karuppu. This film does not have exceptional narration or novelty by any measure. It has a few mass moments featuring Suriya.

And then it was music director, Sai who did the job of carrying the film on his shoulders. His audio tracks are raging after the release of the film and the background score is catching up as well. Yes, there are a few transition issues with background score in the first half, but the energy pumping score in second half has made up for it.

Considering the fate of both Karuppu and Dude, which were clearly carried by the musical works of Sai, he can perhaps be put in the same bracket, albeit at a lower capacity as that of Anirudh. He has proved that he can save a film with his musical score alone.

So he can very well, be the prime choice for the Telugu film industry as well henceforth.
