A few media organizations have picked up a line in Pawan Kalyan’s speech at the Republic Pre-release event and published news that the actor is still in a coma. This has caused a lot of distress in fans and M9.news has asked about it to Sai Dharam Tej’s next film, Republic director Deva Katta.

“Sai Dharam Tej is recovering fast. His accident is fatal and he is lucky to be alive and without any permanent injuries. He is talking to people and also started taking food lightly. He has watched the Pre-release event and he wants us to release the movie on October 1st,” the director said.

“People may say why SDT is not coming outside if everything is well. But understand, he suffered a major accident, and with COVID-19 still around, it is not safe for him to come out. His body will find it difficult to fight multiple infections if something happens. So, we have intentionally kept him away from the promotions,” Deva Katta added.

Republic is releasing on October 1st. The team is totally confident about the film’s success.
