It’s been more than a year since Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire was released and the film has been receiving praises even now. Proof? It’s a recent record!
According to Nielsen‘s latest Mobile Audience Measurement report, the Prabhas, Prithviraj, and Shruti Hassan starrer has emerged as the most-watched movie on mobile streaming platforms in India for March 2025.
The Prasanth Neel directorial is currently streaming on JioHotstar, and has topped the charts alongside the comedy-drama “Dragon.” This also highlights the growing appetite among the audience for multilingual content across the subcontinent.
The rankings are based on passive mobile measurement of various Android users in the age group of 18-45 years from urban markets with populations exceeding 100,000.
The current record is proof that Prabhas’ films can attract audiences on any platform if it has some amazing content. People like to see the Rebel Star, irrespective of the kind of films that he has been doing over the years.
Meanwhile, the Nielsen record is also expected to create some hype for Salaar Part 2. While the makers have not shared any updates, considering that Prashanth is busy with his upcoming film with Jr. NTR, the sequel is expected to create some new records.
Prabhas has previously delivered a big blockbuster like Baahubali, with collections of more than Rs. 1,000 crores. Let’s wait and see if the records will be broken with Salaar Part 2.
