Salaar Biggest Rumor Finally Burried?

There have been many discussions if or not Salaar is an original story. There are strong reports that Salaar is a remake of Prashant Neel’s previous Kannada hit, Ugramm. In an interview, the film’s music director Ravi Basrur said casually that Salaar is a remake of Ugramm.

Interestingly, the director and producer of Salaar refuted those reports earlier. Now, Karthik Gowda, the executive producer of the movie, in an interview, reiterated that Salaar is an Original story which is exclusively written for the Young Rebel Star.

“Salaar is a fresh story written by Prashanth Neel during lockdown.

Neel thought that Prabhas would be perfect for this role and We are so lucky that he immediately agreed to the project after listening story,” Karthik Gowda said. This should keep an end to the rumors.

Prabhas is simultaneously shooting for Salaar and his other film, Adipurush. Salaar is being readied for April 23rd, 2022 as Summer Special.
