Salaar Shocks PSPK27, PSPK27 Stuns Salaar!

Salaar (starring Prabhas) and PSPK27 (featuring Pawan Kalyan) are pitted against each other in a sudden and unexpected turn of events. First, the Salaar team gave an official update regarding the release. Within an hour or so, PSPK27 announced the release. If the former was a shock to PSPK27, then the latter was a stunner for Salaar.

Getting further into details, it is all about locking the release date. The makers of PSPK27 were looking at the Sankranthi 2022 release all along. The trade was given the information for the same. However, an official announcement with a poster and title was reserved for Maha Shivaratri on March 11th.

Suddenly, Hombale Films and director Prashanth Neel came up with a release date update today (February 28th). It is clear that they, too, are looking at Sankranthi 2022. Naturally, they wanted to go one-up on the competition. As it is, there is already one biggie locked for the festival period.

The sudden announcement came as a shock to the PSPK27 team. They immediately revealed Sankranthi arrival without any intimation.

Still, Salaar needs to come up with the official announcement. It will be out soon. Let’s see if they stick to the Sankranthi festival to pick an alternative period as it’s a pan-India biggie. It needs open weeks and release.
