Samantha Bounces Back Against Chaitanya

On the opening day itself, one thing was clear, Samantha’s U Turn was a better movie compared to Naga Chaitanya’s Shailaja Reddy Alludu. The critical census was overwhelmingly in Samantha’s favour, but the masses were on Naga Chaitanya’s side.

Shailaja Reddy Alludu dominated the first two days with the opening being the best day. However, on the third-day things have begun to slide down for the commercial entertainer whereas Samantha’s U Turn is taking an upward turn in the collection after being steady on the first two days.

In the US, U Turn has finally shown bigger number than Shailaja Reddy Alludu. It might not happen in Telugu states owing to the release size and commercial aspects in mind, but U turn is likely to have a longer run. The clash hasn’t been a one-sided one as many would have expected and that is the victory for Samantha.
