Samantha’s Count Begins For This Stunner Of An Act

Well, it was just a matter of time. Actress Samantha has won her first award for her superlative act in her OTT debut series, The Family Man 2. Indian film Festival of Melbourne announced it earlier today (August 20).

Samantha’s character from The Family Man 2, Raji, has been picked as the Best Female Performance in a series on the OTT platform. The most exciting part here is that it also happens to be her debut digitally.

Since the release of the second season of The Family Man, Samantha is winning laurels endlessly. So, it didn’t come as surprise one-bit that she won the award at the Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne. The actress too acknowledged the same and thanked the entire unit and director duo, Raj & DK.

Samantha is on a roll career-wise for the past few years. She is picking excellent scripts, be it solo or big projects. Most, if not all, have been successful one way or the other. It is either massive critical acclaim or commercial success.

Coming ahead is a couple of films, one each in Telugu and Tamil, from Samantha. They will be out once things are normal and cinemas back in operation all over. One of those (Shaakuntalam) marks the pan-India theatrical debut for Samantha.
