Samantha Humble About Bollywood But Not So About Tollywood

The Family Man 2 releasing on Amazon Prime Video on June 4th is Samantha‘s first Pan-India project. This is also her first project in Bollywood even though she did a small cameo in a 2012 film. She plays a terrorist in The Family Man 2.

She has been aggressively promoting the web series and has made interesting comments about Tollywood and Bollywood in a couple of interviews. In an interview, the host mentioned her as Number One heroine in Telugu and Anushka as Number Three.

The actress took the compliment and did not try to brush it off as the star heroines normally do about the numbers game. She did not try to be humble here but in another interview, the actress was asked why it took so long to make her Hindi debut.

The actress humbly said, “Because maybe I am scared? The talent here is amazing. I am scared”. Her answer seems to be diplomatic and maybe an attempt to appease the makers in Bollywood. She even went on to say she would like to act with Ranbir Kapoor given a chance.
