Samantha loses to Rakul

Last year Tollywood had atleast three new actresses who seemed very promising and had the calibre to race towards the top position. Among them, Rakul Preet Singh is one heroine who is pretty lucky getting offers to climb the ladder quite effortlessly. According to the latest information available, Rakul is going to romance Ram Charan Tej for his next.

Initially it was Samantha who had been finalised to play Cherry’s love interest in his next project with Srinu Vaitla. But it seems the change in the script and also the change in the dates have become hindrances for Samantha to be a part of the film. As the film has to go on to the sets soon, the makers had no choice but to replace her with another young heroine.

And thus the offer went to Rakul Preet Singh claim the sources. It might be not just the date problems but also budgetary issues that might have resulted in the replacement of Samantha. Hence the heroine role in Ram Charan’s movie travelled from Shruti Haasan to Samantha and finally landed at Rakul Preet Singh’s door. What an oppurtunity for the lucky girl!
