Samantha Not Risking With The Family Man 2

Samantha Akkineni has been grabbing attention right after The Family Man 2 trailer got unveiled. She took everyone by surprise with her look as Raji, LTTE Rebel, and her inclusion gave much hype to the web-series.

While Samantha got appreciated for her look, she also came under the radar from Tamil Nadu audiences for hurting their sentiments who have now sought ban on The Family Man 2. All this while only a section of people and politicians made a brouhaha, but the protests intensified after the Tamil Nadu government reacted to it.

The TN government has written a letter to the Union Government seeking ban on the web series for hurting Tamil sentiments. The Union Government is yet to respond on the issue. Meanwhile, Samantha Akkineni who was all gung-ho about her pan-India debut with aggressive promotions has now become tight-lipped with the ongoing row.

Samantha is a popular actress in Kollywood and has two prestigious films in her kitty. Sensing trouble for her films and career, the actress is now maintaining deafening silence over the row. In fact, she has stopped promoting the web series. Looks like Samantha doesn’t want to risk her stakes with The Family Man 2, which will air on Amazon Prime Video from June 4.
