Samantha Prioritizes Others Over Deverakonda

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has not been having a good time recently with her projects. Her attempts at finishing her pending projects have failed following the news of her condition myositis.

She is slated to do Amazon Prime’s Citadel, which is a science fiction series, in which she will co-star with Varun Dhawan and is directed by Raj & DK. While the media was flooded with reports that she may be opting out of Citadel, the team has rubbished the news. Incidentally, Samantha started shooting for a two-week schedule yesterday.

Meanwhile, she has put her other Bollywood projects on hold as she is to complete Kushi with Vijay Devarakonda. The first schedule of Kushi was shot in Kashmir by director Shiv Nirvana and Devarakonda is keenly waiting to resume the shoot as he wants a quick hit post-Liger.

There is a talk in the industry that Samantha will finish her schedule in Mumbai and return to the sets of Kushi in February.

We have been told that Vijay Deverakonda has been very cooperative and accommodating about Samantha’s health issues. He has given his full support to the team of Kushi and is ready to join the shoot whenever Samantha is fully recovered and ready.
