Samantha’s Film: As Good As No Update!

Samantha has been ever so active following the ChaySam divorce saga. She has been lining up consecutive projects and completing them at a brisk pace as well. However, her fans are dealt with a rude shock by the makers of Shakuntalam.

Shakuntalam, a mythological love drama featuring Sam in the central role wrapped up shoot a really long time ago. But there has been no update on the project ever since.

Cut to now, the director of Shakuntalam, Gunasekhar has given an update on the project, that is almost as good as no update.

Gunasekhar tweeted “For all those asking about Shakuntalam, the post-production is going on now. The CGI complications are being dealt with and that is taking more time. At this time, the team deserves your support.”

Well, Samantha’s fans have been eagerly awaiting some sort of promotional material from team Shakuntalam and all they are served is a statement, saying post production is going on now and they will have to wait for more time.
