Samantha Signs Second Item Song?

Samantha danced for her first item song in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. The song Oo Antava Mama Oooo Antava’ is big hit. Samantha has said she did the song with a lot of hesitation and is not sure about doing it until the last minute. But then, the hesitation seems to be gone now.

Rumors are rife that Samantha signed her second item song in Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger. The team wanted a star heroine for the song and after the success of Pushpa, they have no doubts. Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda earlier did Mahanati together.

Liger is Vijay Deverakonda’s maiden Pan-India film with the Hindi version being presented by Karan Johar. The movie is announced for the August 25th release. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger has Vijay Deverakonda playing an MMA Fighter. Boxing Legend Mike Tyson does a cameo in the film.

Given the extraordinary reception, Telugu films are getting in the North, the Liger team is planning a massive promotional drive for the film.
