Samantha’s New Film Locks OTT Platform

Samantha is celebrating her 35th birthday today, and also the release of her Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaathal, dubbed in Telugu as Kanmani Rambo Kathija. Not many Telugu people even know that this film released in theatres, such was the promotional campaign.

Coming to the topic, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaathal has locked its OTT streaming partner. Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the post-theatrical digital streaming rights of the Samantha, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi starrer.

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaathal is directed by Vignesh Shivan and it revolves around Nayanthara and Samantha’s characters, who fall in love with the same man, Rambo, essayed by VijaySethupathi.

Disney+ Hotstar has been in fine form in the Telugu OTT space of late with big-ticket offerings like Akhanda and Bheemla Nayak. We need to wait and see if Samantha’s presence can pull the Telugu OTT crowd towards Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaathal ( Kanmani Rambo Kathija IN tELUGU).
