Samantha’s Pain Taking Efforts For Shaakuntalam

Samantha’s first look from Shaakuntalam got released a day back. There is a popular perception that the first look poster can be better for the claims they have been making as a grand film. Speaking about Samantha, this is her first mythological film. Acting in the mythological tale itself is a challenging task and the actress had to endure further for her role.

Samantha took pain-taking efforts for her role Shakuntala where she had to wear floral jewellery. What made this floral jewellery unique is that it was imported from Amsterdam customised specially for Samantha who essays queen in the mythological flick.

However, it wasn’t easy for Samantha to put on the floral jewellery. The actress suffered from rashes, and despite having skin rash the actress didn’t throw any tantrums. She simply applied the medication and went ahead with her floral jewellery despite it being a tad heavy for her.

This gesture of Samantha left producer Neelima Guna and filmmaker Gunasekhar impressed with Samantha’s sheer commitment. Not only this, but the actress also reduced her weight for her role, Shakuntala.

Samantha was styled by celebrity stylist Neeta Lulla who blended the look with a modern touch to appeal to the current generation.
