Sandeep Vanga Has To Change For Prabhas

Sandeep Vanga is one of the most sought-after directors in Indian cinema after delivering Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal. His next collaboration is with Prabhas and the stakes will be high on this one.

However, Sandeep has to change one major aspect for Prabhas and that is his work rate. He took his own sweet time for Arjun Reddy, which he admittedly overshot and the film was in production phase for much longer than anticipated. And again, he took nearly two years to remake this film and release it in Hindi as Kabir Singh.

After Kabir, Vanga took the better part of 4 years to conceive and release Animal. He took nearly two years to take the project onto the floors and another 2 years to shoot and release it.

If we take a look at Vanga’s timelines, his production periods are excruciatingly long. He is indeed delivering box office winners but spending so much time on production comes with the risk of budget shooting up and also dates issue for superstars.

Vanga is working with pan-Indian superstar Prabhas who has developed a knack of working on multiple projects simultaneously and having consecutive releases with a less gap.

So what this essentially means is that Vanga cant spend years and years on the production phase for the Prabhas starrer. He will have to set quick timelines and execute the project at the earliest. Spending years and years on non-big event films is a risky proposition for superstars and Vanga has to be aware of the same.

Notably, Vanga has also admitted that he wishes to cut down the gap between his films and intends to speed up his process with Prabhas’s film now. This will be the big change that Vanga has to bring for Prabhas’s film.
