Sandeep Reddy Vanga Loved Romanchakam: Pranay Reddy Vanga

The upcoming Telugu film Romanchakam promises to combine youthful emotions with comedy, romance and suspense. Backed by Bhadrakali Pictures, the film is produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga and presented by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar play the lead roles, while debutant Venugopal Reddy has directed the project. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on the 3rd of this month.

Producer Pranay Reddy Vanga revealed that the makers were particularly drawn to the story because of its blend of fun and thrilling elements. “This story has humour, thrilling elements and fun situations among friends. We felt it had potential and decided to take it up.” Although Venugopal’s filmmaking style is quite different from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s approach, the team was impressed by the director’s narration and execution. A test scene shot by Venugopal further strengthened their belief that he could translate the script effectively onto the screen.

At the heart of Romanchakam is the journey of a young engineering graduate played by Sumanth Prabhas. His life after college, his romantic relationship and the situations he encounters with his friends form the film’s core. Pranay Reddy Vanga described it as a character-driven movie with plenty of entertainment. He also praised the film’s pacing, noting that its 2 hours and 20 minutes will pass quickly for viewers because of the energetic treatment.

The producer further highlighted the film’s organic comedy and strong performances. He said the director has handled the interactions between the four key characters effectively, without depending on forced jokes. The music by Vasuki has also been singled out as an important strength. With the film receiving a U/A certificate, the makers believe Romanchakam can attract both youngsters and family audiences looking for a light-hearted theatrical entertainer.
